What it does

  • Admission windows per admission type (UG, PG, PhD) and academic year, with start/end time and an optional entrance-exam requirement.
  • Programme intake per college, year of study and academic year, with the subject combinations and Honours / Honours-with-research specializations offered.
  • Application form: reservation category and sub-category, in-house flag, entrance exam and score, sports and achievements; personal details are stored once on the core student record.
  • Previous qualifications (SSC, HSC, UG, PG) with marks, percentage, grade or CGPA, result status and subject percentages used for merit.
  • Document upload (photo, signature, identity, caste, disability, gap, entrance result and others) with college and university verification and an errata (re-upload) request flow.
  • Ranked college / programme / subject-combination preferences, with separate college decision and university eligibility status.
  • Merit lists (regular merit and management quota), uploaded or generated per programme intake; each entry tracks verification, payment request, due date, fee status and confirmation.
  • Admission confirmed when the admission fee is paid; a permanent registration number (PRN) is issued and other modules are told to set up the student.
  • Change of college or programme after admission, and cancellation.
  • PhD track: entrance details, research guides with vacancy, personal interview with marks and result, synopsis submission and research-committee review, and yearly PhD continuation.
  • Portal notices (marquee, news, help articles) for the applicant landing page.

Needs

  • Core: 1.x (student, user, college, programme, subject, academic year)
  • Modules: Fees 1.x (application fee and admission fee are collected by Fees; an admission is confirmed when Fees reports the payment)

  2. Create the subject combinations and specializations each programme offers.
