What it does

  • Booklet preparation: one barcode per student per paper from the Exam module's exam forms; blank barcodes for students who are missing or added late.
  • Inward and storage: centre-wise inward counts, bundles, rack placement in and out, attendance sheet uploads.
  • Scanning: scanner stations and operators, bundle-to-scanner assignment with scan-in, scan-out and upload counts, scanned scripts linked to their booklet.
  • Assessments and marking schemes: one assessment per paper per exam event, question sets with nested questions and maximum marks, reusable paper formats.
  • Evaluator allocation: direct allocation or a shared pool (bucket) that evaluators pull from; re-allocation and un-assignment.
  • On-screen marking: annotations, question-wise marks, cancelled and hidden pages, time spent, unfair-means (UFM) and rejection flags, batch lock and submit.
  • Moderation: marks-range rules per total marks pick the scripts a moderator re-checks.
  • Photocopy and revaluation: requests from Exam, first and second revaluation rounds, lots sent to the university, annotated PDF copies with a marks cross-check.
  • Paper (non-OSM) evaluation: OMR marks sheets (Part II) and barcode-to-booklet sheets (Part III), dispatch of papers to evaluators, evaluator-wise tallies.
  • Evaluators: profile, ID proof, bank details for remuneration, evaluation certificates.
  • Hand-off: finalised marks are sent to Exam as events, never written into Exam tables.
